The Dytran 3343A is a miniature triaxial IEPE accelerometer that weighs just 2.4 grams and has a vertical height of 0.29 inches (7.2 millimeters).

The distinguishing characteristic of the model 3343A is its exclusive, Dytran designed 4-pin radial connector. Compared to the industry standard (1/4-28 thread size), the model 3343A incorporates a M4.5 x 0.35 connector that is approximately 20% smaller in size. This substantial size difference allows for a more flexible, lightweight cable, a smaller diameter for the connector, and also contributes to the overall smaller size of the accelerometer.

Available with a sensitivity of 10 mV/g, the Dytran model 3343A features quartz shear sensing elements packaged in a robust laser welded titanium housing with adhesive mounting capabilities. Units are hermetically sealed for reliable operation in high humidity and dirty environments.
